Spring black bear hunting is another way you can get out and hunt in the off season. This is a great hunt to bring your kids or wife or an inexperienced hunter on, or just get out with your buddies and have a fun time. All our spring bear hunts are over baits.  This method brings a very high success for those hunting bear. Greys river has a very wide range of color phase bears, black, cinnamon, chocolate or blonde. The wilderness privacy of our camp revives your soul as you escape all the pressures of the world. This is one of the funnest and most enjoyable hunts you can do.

we start baiting bates the beginning of April to ensure all baits are being active when hunting season starts in may. you can archery or rifle hunt. tags are sold over the counter. 

fall is a really good time to hunt these bears as well. if you are still a few years short on preference points for a deer and elk hunt, I recomend you buy a bear tag and come enjoy the hunting camp atmosphere, and stay the week hunting bears. high success on this hunt.
